Yum. Came to Omaha for a wedding and my cousin suggested this restaurant. We love Greek food and this didn't disappoint. I had the Greek trio, my husband had the lamb gyro and onion rings. Delicious! Only drawback was it took forever to get out bill. Waitress was really busy but we waited well over 1/2 hour to get it.

Excellent. Our family has loved coming to this restaurant for 40 years. My grandmother brought us here as kids and now we are able to enjoy with our own kids when we come home on vacation. Jim is a master on the grill, everything from pork and chicken to the gyro meat is delicious. Jenny always shows true hospitality and a warm spirit. Same great location, same great food. It is a must-have whenever we are in Omaha.

I’ve ordered takeout from here a handful of times. I’m a huge fan of Mediterranean food and have tried most of the other options in Omaha. In a city full of great options, Jim & Jenny’s is among the very best if not the very best. Their gyro meat is clearly made in house. It’s always fresh off the spit, cut thick, seasoned & cooked perfectly. The tzatziki sauce and homemade pita bread is also delicious. The dolmades as appetizer are the best I’ve had anywhere. 40 years in business is a testament to the quality of food, love and dedication put into this family run establishment. Delicious Greek food, consistent quality. 10 stars.

Amazing Greek food!!! Spanakopita has great flavor and a good portion. The gyro meat was flavorful and tzatziki sauce was amazing. It was fresh with great dill flavor. You can definitely tell it was made in house. You can never go to an authentic Greek restaurant without getting some baklava. Just like everything else on the menu, it was fresh and packed full of flavor. The phyllo dough was flaky and soft.

The food there is absolutely excellent and as the kitchen is virtually open you can see it coming fresh. The saganaki (see the video) is a solid choice for an appetizer and fun to watch. We also got the Kalamari which was nicely tender and not chewy. The salads that come with the meals have a very addictive dressing. Finally, the Gyro Platter is fantastic and definitely made by people who know their Greek food. The biggest complaint is that there was only one server for the whole restaurant. She was friendly but only made it to the table every 20-30 minutes. We timed it and waited an hour for our check. Definitely not her fault, the owners need to hire someone! The atmosphere is nothing exciting, it was clean and acceptable.

Outstanding. Authentic, top quality, delicious food. Ordered a few appetizers and wish I had tried a few more as well. The dolmades were great. Grape leaves stuffed with a lot of meat topped by a savory lemon sauce. The mezedes pikilia was unique and bursting with flavor. Both the chicken and the pork portions were tender and plentiful. The accompanying sauce and roasted red peppers were delightful. The pork was a little better than the chicken, but I could eat both every day. The Greek dinner salad was fresh and enough for 4. The dressing is delicious and the kind you want to take home. They were not skimpy on the feta like many restaurants. The lemon chicken rice soup was well crafted, simple but delicious without oversalting. The Greek potatoes were my favorite. Tender, delicious, and consistent throughout. The chicken reganato is an awesome dish as well, but a half portion is more than enough for 1 and maybe 2. Tender, fall off the bone chicken bursting with flavor from a combination of simple ingredients and a well mastered cooking method. A lot of skill and care went into creating this food.

Wonderful Greek food! The Gyros meat is done on the spit and melts in the mouth. Onion Rings,m Saganaki (flamed at your table and the grape leaf wraps were yummy.) Bldg is very care worn. Food was SO good we went two nights in a row. We were in town for only two nights.
